This class is open and accessible to everyone, regardless of physical ability. It is specifically designed to create a safe, supportive, and peaceful atmosphere for people who have been exposed to trauma, or chronic stress. At the same time, it is open to anyone who seeks to move away from old habitual triggers and self-judgment towards curiosity about their internal experience in the present moment. The focus will be on slowing down and safely experiencing each moment as it is. This will be achieved through creating an empowering environment where each student is encouraged to access their own sense of choice, control, and freedom to be themselves. Through this practice, students will learn to feel comfortable in their bodies while developing self-regulation and relaxation skills. The class is designed to minimize the possibility of triggering for people who have experienced trauma and/or anxiety related issues.
